| Community Recognition Awards by Northeast Alberta Community Board Persons with Developmental Disabilities. The Annual Conference was hosted by the community of Bonnyville in 2007. Annually Community Recognition Awards are given to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions of individuals, groups and organizations in communities that affirm the values by which the Board works and and strive to achieve. | | Whitecourt | The Whitecourt and Area Transit Society now offers a Dial-A-Bus service to individuals with disabilities and seniors. They are hoping to expand the service soon. And they were awarded the Community Service Award for 2007 by the Whitecourt Community Council for their superb effort to launch this needed service for the community. |
