Steve Hrachy says, "I am 28-years old and will be 29 in October. I like to sing country music. My hobby is finding out about airplanes, all types but particularly I like the Boeing 767. I flew in one. Also I enjoy finding out what really happened in aircraft accidents.

I was an Air Cadets for three years and ended up as a Corporal. I liked learning different things like: being in a glider, learning how to shoot a rifle and going to Cadet camp.

From February 1999 to February 2005 I was co-chair of the Athabasca Community Council .

My Dad lives on a farm outside Boyle. He has worked in Boyle for 10 years.

I went looking for my Mom when I was 17 years old. I went to Vancouver and met her there. I hadn't seen her in 10 years. It was great to see her again and we see each other once a year now.

My 18-year old brother is graduating from high school this year. My sister lives in Sherwood Park and is married. I see her regularly. I like travelling to Edmonton to visit my sister and to shop.

I am really enjoying the Athabasca Community Kitchen. I am learning a lot of different recipes like apple crisp, hamburger pie and stroganoff.

I am in the Special Olympics in T-Ball and bowling.

I work at two jobs. I have been at Buy Low foods for 6 years as a courtesy clerk. I have been at UFA Farm store for 5 years as a general helper. This includes dusting shelves and making coffee. My nickname is "The Dustbuster."
