Hi. My name is Jason Burnside. I like to bowl, play baseball, and watch movies. I had a girl friend for 7 years. I have so many girls that I like. Some are crazy about me, but not TOO crazy! I would like to marry someone someday. Some of my favorite scary movies are "Jason" and "Jason Takes Manhattan." I like "Freaky Friday" and "Xena, the Warrior Princess". Sometimes I have friends over to watch TV or movies. I also like country music, especially Terry Clark, Alabama, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt band. I like to go to stores and buy stuff like CDs and tapes. My favorite CD is "Meatloaf". I also like "Kiss" and "Twisted Sisters." My current job is working with wood, making some shelves, and making some frames for mirrors. I work really hard. I do all kinds of projects out of wood. I use an electric saw, a drill, hammers, tape measures, nails, and screws. I work at the workshop every Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. I have been working there a very long time. I started working at the workshop when I was 20 years old. There are 10 to 20 people who work there. You have to wear safety goggles and earplugs or earphones. You have to be careful when sanding. I'll probably work with wood until I retire. I lived in the country for 10 years, but I like town better because there's more to do than in the country. I did build a clubhouse for boys and girls when I was younger. I have lots of family. I have a mother and a stepdad. I have one sister in Rich Valley, one sister in Saskatchewan, and another sister in Spruce Grove. I play with my nieces sometimes. I have a dad and stepmother in Caster. I have some friends out-of-town, in Edmonton, St. Albert. I go visiting mostly during the summer and at Christmas. In the future I'd like to learn to curl. I do like to snow shoe, and I am a Championship bowler for Special Olympics. Once I bowled in Sherwood Park and won a trophy and clock. That is my story. |
