Donald Rook - A Solid St. Paul Citizen

Donald is a kind man that enjoys cooking and is an expert shopper. He and his mother share a residence in St. Paul but both contribute to the chores and the expenses.

Donald was born and raised on an army base in Shilo, Manitoba. His father served in the army and his mother worked in a small store on the base. Donald does not have any brothers or sisters. He attended O'Kelly school from kindergarten to grade 6 and then he went to Greenwood school from grade 6 to 10. His favorite subjects were Home Economics and Reading. Later the whole family moved to Brandon Manitoba where he lived until he was 18 years old.

After his father passed away, Donald and his mother moved back to Alberta. Donald attended Lakeland Collage and lived on campus. He studied cooking, waitering and took vocational readiness. He lived for 3 - 4 years in the city of Edmonton by himself. He liked city life but found it expensive. Because of severe migraines, his doctors recommend that he move to St. Paul where he could be close to family.

Currently, Donald works at the Next To New Store as a casher's helper. He likes bowling on Wednesday nights, going to the theatre to watch action or comedy films and having coffee with his friends. He is a member of the Positive People Society and recently joined the community council.

He enjoys traveling with friends. He went to Vancouver with 5 other people and is planning to go to Mexico this winter. Donald is hoping to someday meet that special someone to share his life with.
